Hi, I’m Deborah
I’m so thankful you stopped by today!
Do you LONG for more?
Tired of all the doing of good things only to feel exhausted? Frustrated at yourself over your continual failings? Troubled at the thought of who you are becoming? Hungry for more in your walk with the Lord? Desirous for real transformation on the inside?
Me too!
I simply adore that little phrase, “Me too!” When uttered in my direction, it has such power to help me feel that I am not alone.
May I offer some encouragement to you today? You are not alone, and if you answered, “yes,” to any of the above, this is the place for you. Stay a while. Browse the pages. Find community, encouragement, and resources for growing in Christlikeness.
About Deborah
I am a child of God, wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister, niece, and friend who loves nothing better than spending time with those I love.
Over the years I have been both a stay-at-home mom and one who worked outside the home holding such varied positions as secretary, office administrator, insurance agent, and public schoolteacher. Add to that full-time student as I went back to college as a non-traditional student (double majoring in English Literature and Elementary Education) when my youngest child entered school.
It is now my joy, in this later life season, to share the amazing love of God (and some useful and practical tips) through my writing and speaking Christians of all seasons.
Please know that even though I’ve lived through many seasons experiencing both their joys and their trials, I am still a work in progress. I don’t have all the answers, but I know the One who does. And I am thankful for His continued pursuit, patience, and never-ending love as He continues His work of transformation in my life.
