In the Image of Christ for Kids

The Bible tells us that Christians are to follow the example of Christ. We know this. However, as we look around our world today, we often find ourselves anxious for our children. How are they to follow the example of Christ? How are they to even know what Christlikeness is in all the noise that surrounds and assaults them?

In the Image of Christ for Kids is a tool for helping children discern the nature of Christlike character and experience putting that character into practice. Working through the reflections individually or as a family, children will be guided to read about, discuss, and think deeply upon specific character qualities of Christ.

Written in a kid-friendly, conversant style and using a consistent structured format, children are encouraged to reflect upon 27 different characteristics of Christ. Each of the twenty-seven reflections points the reader to Scripture (Read), challenges them to think about the Scripture and characteristic (Think), helps them see the characteristic (What the Characteristic Looks Like), provides them an opportunity to reflect/respond (Journal), and encourages conversation with God (Pray). Whether done individually or as a family, this book is a practical tool for helping children grow in Christlikeness.
