Observing Family Traditions

The Bible tells us that God is the inventor and giver of every good gift (James 1:17). Tradition is one of those good gifts! While the word doesn’t even appear in the Old Testament, the concept is there – in all detail and instruction God provided for each ceremony and celebration He instituted.

Just as it was in the Old Testament, tradition is vital today in providing our family members with a sense of identity. Participants in this session will learn the qualities of a good tradition, understand their importance, and reflect upon the quality of their own family’s current observances.
