There is no greater gift we can give to our grandchildren (and no stronger weapon we can wield on their behalf) than our prayers for them.
The Benefits of Prayer for Your Grandchildren
Of course, we can (and should) pray for our grandchildren every day, all year long, and we can do it alone. But sometimes it’s just good to designate a special time for some focused prayer and invite others to join us in it.
Praying in Community
Praying with others:
- Helps to hold us accountable to our commitment of prayer.
- Unites us with other like-minded grandparents.
- Provides the opportunity for sharing prayer requests and prayers.
- Opens an avenue for the exchange of ideas.
- Blesses participants with the gift of encouragement as they engage in one of the greatest investments they can possibly make.
And we’d love to have you join us in our community of prayer.
Your Invitation
Beginning January 1, 2020, over 600 grandparents from around the world will join together in prayer for their grandchildren.
The Challenge will take place via a private Facebook group where 30 Scripture-based prayer prompts will be posted daily. Simply pull the prompt up at your convenience and use it to inform your prayers for your grandchildren.
Beyond the daily prompt, the amount of your involvement in the group is completely up to you. No pressure!
Won’t you consider joining us? We love welcoming new members and would love to welcome you!
Details and Tools
The “corporate” version of the 30-Day Prayer Challenge will begin on January 1st and run for thirty days.
After that time, the Facebook group does remain open as a place for encouragement and support on our grandparenting journey.
The following tools are available as additional resources for the Challenge but are not a necessary component:
30-Day Prayer Challenge Booklet (PDF download) – Suggestions, ideas, and other helps for getting more from the Challenge. Also includes a complete list of the 30 Scripture-based prayer prompts.
30-Day Prayer Challenge Journal (PDF download) – A place to record your Prayer Challenge journey – thoughts, reflections, prayers, etc.
I pray you will consider joining us on this one-of-a-kind grandparenting journey.

I tried to download the pdf’s for this and each attempt ended with a “something went wrong” message from Facebook.
